Our tools

The tools we provide assist in analyzing charts. Our tools do not not indicate or guarantee any result. Our tools are designed to detect set of conditions in chart data associated with potentially useful information. Detecting these events is done using purely technical means and can be erroneous. Personal judgement and discretion is always needed when evaluating the validity of indications provided by our tools.

Historical performance does not guarantee future results

Behaviour of certain functions in our tools, if applicable, is backtested using metrics that we deem to reasonably depict expected behaviour. Backtesting is done first and foremost to exclude scenarios where historical performance is clearly poor, in which case given tool cannot be considered to provide useful information. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations like benefit of hindsight and possibility of seemingly good results being pure luck. Hypothetical or simulated performance does not represent actual trading and past results do not guarantee future performance.
