NASDAQ 100 shows its strongest recent unusual volume cluster in the selloff into late March and early April near the mid-560s to high-570s. That cluster lands inside a clear downtrend and around sharp downside candles, which points to panic selling rather than accumulation. A secondary recent cluster sits higher around the low-580s and also lines up with the same downward move.
Unusual volume cluster | Extremity | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|
Around ~564.00 | Extreme | Panic selling |
Around ~580.00 | Large | Panic selling |
On NASDAQ 100 the most recent liquidation event sits around the mid-580s and it is a downside-side event under price which points to sellers getting squeezed before a short-lived bounce attempt. Just before that there is a cluster of liquidation events around the low-590s to mid-590s and those also sit below candles which keeps the read skewed toward seller pain rather than buyer washout. The latest sequence came during a sharp drop so these liquidation events fit reversal-pain behavior inside a volatile selloff rather than acting as support.

Around ~596.00 | Notable | Sellers liquidated |
